Filbert - Yes...isn't that cool? We heard from a bunch of customers who were missing out on great Isaac's sandwiches so we got a tasty option for them. We so rock!


Q. Taylor asks - What is your annual revenue and profit/loss for last 2 years (I need this info for homework)?

Filbert - Wow...classes are studying Isaac's now? Wish I could help but since I'm a bird, and prone to being flighty, I just don't keep up with that kinda stuff.


Q. Jon asks - I work at an Isaac's and I think we should have an Isaac's theme song! What would you recommend?

Filbert - I've always been partial to "Bird Is The Word" but as soon as I start singing it, it gets stuck in my head and it drives me crazy. Let me think on this.


Q. Allyson asks - Why ARE you pink?

Filbert - Because I think pink is the new black! Oh, and don't forget I use SPF 50 all year long (that's Stay Pink Forever).


Q. Tiffany asks - Have you ever ran into any airplanes while flying?

Filbert - Not yet, although I think it'd be fun to try and hitch a ride to greater heights!


Q. Taylor asks - Where do you live?

Filbert - I fly by the seat of my pants...wherever the wind takes me. I live in the Now and have no regrets.

Filbert - I've yet to find my soul mate...know anyone who may be interested?

Filbert - Hmmmm....I've never heard of that bird...

Filbert - Life's too short. I keep my fantastic physique by sticking to "everything in moderation" and staying active.

Filbert - Another love question. You do. You really do. And not just because I've been handing out prizes.

Filbert - You know...I get asked that a lot. I think it's my beak. That and my uncanny sense of fashion.


Q. Megan asks - What's your favorite meal at Isaac's?

Filbert - Anything with Pepperjack Tomato Soup...unless we have Shrimp Creole, like today.


Q. Danette asks - Why doesn't Isaac's sell it's server shirts to the public? Wouldn't that be a way to advertise?

Filbert - It's one heck of a perk of working at Isaac's! But stay tuned...you're going to see some pretty cool stuff come out soon...hopefully some of it will have my face on it.


Q. Caitlin asks - Do you have any more ideas for vegetarians?

Filbert - We LOVE our vegetarians and are always on the lookout for something new and exciting to offer them. Or bringing back veggie classics...like the Fresh-Cut Corn Chowder that will be back later this month.


Q. Phil asks - I love you?

Filbert - Do you really? Or is it because our names sound alike?


Q. Mark asks - How long are you at each store? i.e. 5:30 -, 7:00 -?

Filbert - I make it to 2 Isaac's each Wednesday and I get to stay for 45 minutes of fun at each location.


Q. Rich asks - What do you do with your free time?

Filbert - In my line of work, free time is hard to come by. But when I get it, I really enjoy fishing, soccer and practicing bird calls...some magpies are teaching me them.


Q. Red asks - Have you ever thought about adopting any orphan baby birds outside of your species?

Filbert - Absolutely. Us birds have got to stick together.


Q. Chuck asks - Does Filbert wear contact lenses?

Filbert - Nah...there must be a hawk in the family tree because my vision is perfect.


Q. Brandy asks - Are you part human or all flamingo? Because you are pretty dapper!

Filbert - Oh, honey, I am all flamingo. And thank you for the compliment!


Q. Susan asks - Are you pink because you eat so many shrimp?

Filbert - Yes...and because like I said earlier, a little SPF 50 goes a long way. Remember, pink is the new black!


Q. Mmmmmm asks - How do you make the flat pizza with chicken on it and lettuce?

Filbert - It's an ancient secret from my Southwestern ancestors.


Q. Kay asks - Do you hang out with any other famous bird mascots, like Philly Eagles, Baltimore Orioles or Ravens?

Filbert - I met Swoop once but I mostly hang out with Downtown from York, Red from a certain restaurant and Scully from Millersville.


Q. Jen asks - Now that you're a star and doing appearances, do you have your own "security", too?

Filbert - Yeah. They're called feather busters.

Filbert - Thanks, Pat...just added it to my grocery list.

Filbert - I come from a very large flock and we've migrated all over the world...reunions are always hard to plan. Luckily I've got my Isaac's flock around me here.

Filbert - Old enough to know better, young enough not to care...yeah, I know, I'm dodging the question.

Filbert - I eat my spinach and get plenty of calcium.

Filbert - I have a Bird Brain. I was looking at getting a Mac or a Dell, but decided to stick with what I know best. I didn't know they made Human lap tops...

Filbert - If I had my way, there'd be an Isaac's on every street corner...there's no such thing as "too much of a good thing".

Filbert - You should see my flamingo...but I do a pretty mean walrus if I do say so myself.

Q. Neal asks - Filbert, where did your name come from? Also, if you're Filbert, why is the restaurant named Isaac's?

Filbert - Well Neal, I was hatched and nested in sunny Florida. I wish this awesome restaurant was named after me! Isaac's is named after one of the original owners, Isaac Williams. Since he's no longer with the company, maybe they'll consider renaming the place...a bird can only dream!

Filbert - You know, Ellene...sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.


Q. Ron and Mary ask - When will you open an Isaac's at Exeter Commons?

Q. Heidi asks - I am a flamingo lover...I even have a tattoo! What is your favorite type of human?

Filbert - Flamingo lovers unite! Oddly, I seem to migrate toward either really tall and skinny humans, or really short and shrimpy humans. Weird, huh? I like yoga practicers, too...especially ones good at that tree pose...

Filbert - I've yet to find my soul mate...know anyone who may be interested?


Q. Kelly asks - What makes you the best Isaac's mascot?

Filbert - All of the other mascots up for the part just didn't cut it. I was the only one that gave a believable performance. That and my flawless sense of flamingo fashion.


Q. Sarabeth - How much time do you spend pruning those beautiful feathers in the morning?

Filbert - I think you meant preening...the other way would hurt. Exactly 3 hours. And thanks for noticing
