Hanover Isaac's Took The Polar Bear PlungePosted on March 17th, 2010 Team Isaac's Hanover South took the plunge and raised $678 in the annual Pola Bear Plunge held in Wrightsville at the Susquehanna River on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Danielle Kitner, GM at Hanover Isaac's, was Captain for the team which included Liz Mizirio, Hanna Harden, Bradley Weikert and Roger Kitner. Participants in the plunge had to race into the 47 degree water and could stay in it up to 3 minutes. All members of Team Isaac's Hanover South successfully stayed in the full 3 minutes!The Polar Bear Plunge is an event held to raise both money and awareness for Special Olympics York County, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for persons with intellectual disabilities.
