One of the real pleasures of my job as President of Isaac's is reading the constant customer feedback we receive in my office. Anyone can go to our web site and click on "
Contact Us" to send a comment to our Central Office. We get several comments every day.
Frankly, we have occasional complaints to hear and make right, but my favorite comments are the other questions and suggestions we get from customers.
Here are some typical questions, and our typical responses. Consider this a FAQs for Isaac's!
Q. We need an Isaac’s in Elizabethtown/Carlisle/Lehigh Valley/University City/ Rehoboth Beach/Maryland/Pittsburgh/Monongahela/Ohio/Kansas/Seattle! (We hear from customers all around the country.) I’d even work there part-time!
A. We have 20 restaurants, and we plan to keep growing in the South Central PA area. We are always on the look-out for new locations, and customer requests to come to specific towns and cities are factors that influence our decisions about where to look. If you want us in your town, send us an email! But sorry, we aren't taking long-legged steps to go out of state or across the country…yet!
Q. Your Creamy Tomato Pepper Jack Soup/African Chicken Stew/Tomato Florentine is the best! Can you please share the recipe since you shared your Cheeseburger Soup recipe?
A. Sorry, we consider recipes to be our “trade secrets” and do not share this information. However, we occasionally want to do something special for our Flamingo Fan Club members so we decided to share one of our favorite recipes recently - Cheeseburger soup! Sign up for the fan club if you want to receive other soup recipes once in a while. But you’ll just have to stop by one of our restaurants for our other popular soups. (Have you tried our Creamy Pepper Jack in our bread bowl? It is out of this world!)
Q. Why do you no longer carry the California Spinach Salad (or any other item)?
A. When we discontinue any menu item, it is because of slow sales. Our California Spinach Salad just wasn’t a big seller for us so we replaced it with our new Mediterranean Salad.
Q. Do you have nutritional information on your sandwiches?
A. Sure! We have it online here.
Q. I was wondering what the nutritional values are for a bowl of your Creamy Tomato Pepper Jack Soup. It is an amazing meal!
A. Thank you for your question about our Creamy Pepper Jack Tomato Soup. You are one of many customers to contact us for this information.
Here is the nutritional information for an 8oz. serving:

This soup is high in Vitamin C and A and is a good source of calcium, potassium, and protein!
Q. Do you have nutritional information available on your other soups?
A. We do not have this information available for our soups. While we hope to have it available someday, we have hundreds of recipes and it would be a monumental task to accurately compile this information. They are also made from scratch daily in each restaurant. So while each soup maker follows the standard recipe, they might vary from batch to batch.
Q. Are you bringing back Thanksgiving-on-a-Bun?
A. Yes! Stop in on November 6th and enjoy our great sandwich through the end of the year! We’ve had many customers, throughout the year, contact us saying…”Bring it back!”, so we brought it back!
Q. Do you have any gluten-free items on your menu? Is your staff knowledgeable about this?
A. Please remember that we specialize in sandwiches! We always suggest to gluten-intolerant customers that they are welcome to bring their own bread in a baggie. However, please make sure our server and manager knows of your allergy so we can take all necessary measures to avoid any type of cross-contamination, etc.
As far as gluten-free items on our menu, it would be easier if you would tell us the items you are interested in and we will check labels for you. Please let us know so we can do some homework and then get back in touch with you.
While we will do everything to take good care of you, it is ultimately up to the customer to make sure they are eating items that do not cause them discomfort. We do share information with employees and have posters regarding allergies posted; however, please ask for a manager so they can give you the best service possible.
Q. Thanks for your community nights fundraiser program. My group/team/organization had a very enjoyable and profitable evening last night.
A. We are very proud of our community nights fundraising program. You can earn 25% of sales for your organization. Check it out on our web site for more details.
Q. Can you ship your pickle mix/Ikey Sauce/Pretzel rolls/soup to Saskatchewan, Canada?
A. Sorry, not yet. You'll need to visit Pennsylvania to indulge yourself in our Isaac's specialties!
So there you have Isaac's FAQs! If I missed a question that's on your mind, go to "
Contact Us," and send it in! I look forward to answering it.
